Walking Meditation
at
Dark Moon Preserve

Walking meditation and mindful walking are powerful and profound ways to deepen our connection to our bodies, mind, breath and the earth. Each step we take is with reverence and respect. Feel the ground beneath your feet and know that you are nurtured and supported by our home, Earth.
We will walk around the perimeter of Dark Moon, at about a half way point we will stop and sit for a brief guided centering/meditation and then have the opportunity for stream of consciousness writing. We will then continue on to finish the loop. This practice will be done in silence with the opportunity to chat and discuss at the end.
2 Times are being offered Friday evening and Sunday Morning.
* PLEASE wear sturdy/supportive walking shoes and bring a journal or notebook and something to write with as well as a water bottle. You may also like to bring a small mat or towel to sit on for the journaling part.
**These events are weather dependent. If there is rain or thunderstorms forecasted, the event will be cancelled. Registrants will be notified by email.
